Regional Workshops

The US is segmented into regions based on EPA and USDA designations. Basically, there are four regions that hold either annual or biennial workshops on pesticide education and certification. Contacts or links to regional websites are listed below:

The Pesticide Certification & Training Assessment Group (CTAG), was established in 1996 to assess the current status of, and provide direction for, the future of the national pesticide applicator certification and training program. Pesticide certification and trainings are primarily handled by state governments and state land grant universities. CTAG’s mission is to develop and implement proposals that will strengthen federal, state, territory, and tribal pesticide certification and training programs which ultimately enhances the knowledge, skills and attitudes of pesticide users to ensure safe and effective pest management.
